MEET THE ARTISTS BEHIND SALT IN THE SOIL PT. 2

George Warren: GEORGE BRINGS WISDOM, PRECISION, AND HEART TO THIS PROJECT. A FLINT NATIVE, HIS SOUND HAS BEEN SHAPED BY YEARS OF WORK WITH ARTISTS SUCH AS MAMA SOL, HIS OWN BAND HIGH DEFINITION, AND PRODUCTIONS AT MCCREE THEATRE. AS MUSICAL DIRECTOR, HE ENSURES EVERY ARRANGEMENT FEELS INTENTIONAL LEAVING ROOM FOR CREATIVITY. HIS HISTORY WITH THE SHEPHERDS, A GROUP LED BY MEMBERS OF THE CREATOR'S FAMILY, MAKES HIS ROLE A POWERFUL CONTINUATION OF THAT MUSICAL LEGACY.

Anthony Tyler: ANTHONY IS THE HEARTBEAT OF THIS BAND. HIS ROOTS IN GOSPEL AND JAZZ TRADITIONS GIVE HIS PLAYING SOUL & LIFE. A MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST. FROM FLINT TO GRAND RAPIDS, HE'S KNOWN FOR BEING SOLID AND TASTEFUL BEHIND THE KIT. LIKE GEORGE, ANTHONY PLAYED IN THE SHEPHERDS, SO WHILE THIS PROJECT IS MUSIC, THIS IS FAMILY AND HISTORY COMING FULL CIRCLE.

Jesse Eason: JESSE BRINGS DEPTH AND SOUL. WITH A STRONG GOSPEL BACKGROUND HE'S SPENT YEARS PLAYING GOSPEL WITH GROUPS LIKE THE WILLING SOULZ, BLENDING A CHURCH BORN EAR WITH VERSATILITY. HIS ARTISTRY IS CLEAN, SOULFUL, AND ALWAYS SERVES THE MUSIC. ADDING A MELODIC LINE, HE BRINGS THE KIND OF FEEL THAT CAN ONLY COME FROM A LIFETIME IN MINISTRY.

Lamar Hall: IF GROOVE HAD A VOICE, IT WOULD SOUND LIKE LAMAR ON BASS. BASED IN DETROIT, HE MOVES EASILY BETWEEN GOSPEL, FUNK, AND JAZZ, CREATING A POCKET THAT THE WHOLE BAND LEANS ON. HIS TONE IS WARM, HOLDING THE FOUNDATION STEADY AND MAKING SPACE FOR THE MUSIC TO BREATHE, MOVING EVERYBODY IN THE ROOM.
