Potter Elementary,

Arts Integration Residency.

This documents my arts-integrated residency at Potter Elementary (Flint, MI) through the University of South Florida’s REACH Grant, in partnership with the Center for Partnerships in Arts-Integrated Teaching. The program, Tapping into Learning: A Day of Rhythms and Discovery, introduced students to tap history, music theory, polyrhythms, improvisation, and call-and-response. Students connected movement to literacy through journaling and collaborative storytelling.
