Performed as part of Sharese Alexander’s Saved by Silk, “Worship 101” brings Shanzell Q. Page and apprentice Khyri Porter together in an improvised call and response.

Page and Porter have spent the year learning, creating, and dancing together as part of their 2026 Michigan Traditional Arts Apprenticeship, making this performance a sweet extension of their time together and an opportunity to share that relationship onstage.

Saved by Silk was created by Sharese Alexander as a testimony to her journey of faith and flag worship.
